Additional notes:

This video was from a recent Visa run to Vietnam, where I stayed in the capital city of Saigon for a few days.

It’s much busier now than I remember, and there are loads more hostess bars too. The beer is insanely cheap at some bars, and a lot of the regular Vietnamese girls were very easy on the eye.

My plan was very simple for this night, eat some Pho and then head to drink beer on Bui Vien street…

A word of warning about some of the regular bars on Bui Vien street. Trip advisor reviews are littered with incidents of bill padding, incorrect change being given and not honouring promo deals.

Be aware of this if you are drinking here and it’s probably not a good idea to run up a big bar tab, but best to pay for each drink as they come to avoid potential problems.

There seemed to be more hostess bars this time especially down the ‘Crazy Girls’ end of Bui Vien street. Ladies are available to be barfined (if they like you) but it’s much more low key than other nearby countries.

This video ends at 11,30pm and a following part will be released soon…

Thank you for watching, and subscribe for more videos.

NB: Saigon / Ho Chi Minh City are the same city, the name was changed after the 70s. The locals all call it Saigon so that’s what I call it here.

  1. was this shot on a Friday or Saturday night? Crazy crowded. Wonder what a Monday or Tuesday night would look like.

  2. 07:50 they are not police. they just the normal people but they do support for police in some case. they are voluntary. they just go around and call the police if some thing go wrong.

  3. @Bangkok 112- nope…from your vids, restaurants, bars, the crowds, bar girls, go go dancers, even the free lancers are better in Pattaya…

  4. chist man, their fucking real life hookers are better looking than the movie stars playing hookers in Hollywood.

  5. How much you wanna bet this is a white guy. Theres a growing hatred of perverted white guys visiting south east Asia…

  6. Funny don't look much different than Saigon in 68 except for lack of uniforms around. So communism in Vietnam looks like democratic Asian cities.

  7. I've been to HCM city a couple of times, I love it and its people. I married a wonderful woman from district 10 and we now have a beautiful 6 month old daughter. I can't wait to go back again to visit.

  8. The video makes me miss Vietnam , phuong 12 and Tan Binh near the airport has great food , dalat has fantastic street food as well .
Can't wait to go back to my second home in the Delta , just busy extracted dollars from Australia to inject back into the Vietnamese economy.

  9. Tao mà lên oam Thủ Tướng. Tao dẹp hết cái bọn lấn chiếm vỉa hè. Tao mà làm thủ tướng tao thanh lập hội sát thủ. Đứa nào chống đối tao sai sát thủ giết. Xem con đứa nào nhà nào lấn chiếm vỉa hè ôm

  11. Thank you very much, nice impressions, good video, usefull. Question: So this was everything in Saigon City right?

  12. So, what do hostesses do? Do they just chat with you? Do they dance with you? Can you make out with them? Of course, I know all of this is for money, but I'm just wondering what exactly do they do (other than look pretty).
