TRICEPS OVERVIEW:

Skull Crusher –

Targets: Long head

Benefits: Size, strength

Tip: Lower the bar slightly past the top of your head, maximizing the stretch and bring the bar up at an angle of 45 degrees to lower the stress on the elbow tendon.

Dont forget to fully extend the elbow for maximum triceps contraction.

Close grip Bench –

Targets: Long head

Benefits: Size, Strength

Tip: focus on the upper half of the movement, fully contracting the triceps at the top of the movement.

Hint: try pairing up with skull crushers for maximum long head destruction!

Cross bench tri dips –

Targets – All three heads, long head, lateral and medial

Benefits: Total tricep development

Tip: Focus on flexing the triceps at the top

Behind the neck tri ext. –

Targets: Long head

Benefits: Strength, size

Tip: focus on the stretch for maximum long head involvement

triceps kickbacks –

Targets: Lateral head, medial head

Benefits: definition, cuts

Tip: Full range of motion with strict form, focusing on the complete extension of the elbow.

Hint: dont go to heavy on these will allow for proper form.
